Robots

Postby The Frankensteiner » May 1st, 2006 3:03 pm

One thing about Japan that interests me a lot is their work in robotics.
I saw some really neat things last year when discovery channel's Daily Planet had their "Japan Week". Robots that have conversations with you, robots that run and ones that look dang near human!

Does anyone have any interesting info on examples of advanced robotics from Japan?

P.S.
In the meantime here's an entertaining robot realted video from Japan.

For some reason, the whole concept of robots never really caught my interest. I don't really know why, though.

Sumo

Postby ali17 » May 17th, 2006 11:28 pm

I recently saw Robot Sumo. It just got to the States. But it has been around for a while in Japan. I think that if you google it you should find something.
