Japanese Get a Mac adverts

Postby Belton » November 13th, 2006 7:33 pm

Apple.jp has launched it's own version of the Mac Vs PC ads.
It's fun to see these in Japanese.

Oh, I love these ads, and have downloaded all of them!!

You can get more of the Rahmens on Youtube. Just type either Rahmens, or ラーメンズ。

Their videos on "The Japanese Tradition" are great, and not to be taken seriously.

I take the ads seriously because I'm a member of Microsoft and they are offending us!

Most are a direct translation from the American ones. The British ones are quite boring, except for the Japanese printer. The British Mac also sounds gay.

British humor is quite different from american humor.
I've watched enough BBC to appreciate the british ads, but it is definitely an acquired taste (I still dont like the flying circus much)

Yes I agree with British humor being different. Only humor I get and like is Monty Python.

Of all the Mac ads, I like the Japanese ones the best. The Rahmens are a riot on Youtube. I have downloaded most of their videos from Youtube, and have to watch them at lunch. I'm laughing too hard to watch them during work!!
