How do pirates speak in Japanese?

this was brought up in one of the Lesson Threads:
(which i suppose was more of a "Talk Like a Yakuza" lesson)

after doing some research (and by that i just mean watching pirates of the carribean in japanese), i've deduced that pirates (as we think of them) speak normal guy's style japanese. if the pirates are japanese pirates, like the 村上水軍 mentioned by Naomi sensei, they use archaic guy's style japanese (ie; like samurai).

:flower: i wanna hear sakura-san talk like a pirate, yarrrr! :flower:
