Japanese Ball Players

Postby Liz21 » May 5th, 2006 2:57 am

Today I went to the White Sox game and I got to see Tadahito Iguchi, the Sox second baseman. They were playing the Seattle Mariners, so I also got to see Ichiro!! Neither guy got a hit, but they made some nice plays!

Anyone else like to watch the Japanese players?

I don't really watch baseball but I understand it's crazy popular in Japan.
Is it the most popular over there? Actually, do they have a national sport? I wonder what it would be.

Yes, I think baseball is huge in Japan! I guess they also enjoy soccer a lot, as well as sumo wrestling!!

Ahhh yes sumo. I bet you that's their national sport.
