that would be fun to have an audio chat room. maybe there can be different levels set up for the rooms, i.e. S2, lower Intermediate, int., etc..

it is fun to practice speaking.

As much as I love listening to someone else speak in Japanese (yeah), why aren't there any audio enhanced chat rooms? Practice speaking a different language with other people is one of the most important parts, and yet it's never utilized. Of course these rooms would have to have a limited amount of people per room.

Unfortunately, Skype is the only cross-platform chat program that can do this.

I could maybe steal a part of my friend's ventrilo sever for japanesepod101. Its a huge vent that can hosts over 200+ people i believe. ventrilo, teamspeak, or sharing the MSN info of people who have microphones would also be helpful.

My regular comp is broken, so I"m on a laptop until my new comp is ready.
