The Taste of Tea

Postby Oranda_jin » May 25th, 2006 12:16 pm

"The Taste of Tea" (2004)
is a light comedy about daily life in an unconventional japanese family,
it is sensitvely made by Katsuhito Ishii with sometimes beautiful images...
anyone seen it :?:

I got "The Taste of Tea" on DVD recently have watched it multiple times already. I really enjoyed it. Recently I've also watched Survival style 5, another Japanese film with Asano Tadanobu. I enjoyed that one as well, but it didn't top Taste of Tea for me.

Where can you get this movie? My library doesn't have it. I checked on Amazon.com -- nada!

I got my copy on ebay. I don't think it has been released in the west yet.
