こにちは皆さん!

Postby wrightdanielle12_519384 » December 30th, 2017 10:31 pm

私の名前はダニエルです。

Hello my name is Danielle.

一年ぐらい日本語を勉強します。 :)

I have been studying Japanese for about a year.

日本語のクラスは入りたいですがお金を持ちません。 :(

I want to enter a Japanese class but I don't have the money.

だからこのウェブサイトに来ました。

That's why I have come to this website.

何々初めて知りません。。。

I don't know where to start.

私の短期的な目標はハリーポッターを読みます。 :lol:

My short term goal is to read Harry Potter.

私の長期的な目標は日本語の能力試験を受けます。

My long term goal is to take the JLPT exam.

日本語を教えてください!! :)

Please teach me Japanese!

こんにちは、ダニエルさん。
僕はクリスと申します。どうぞよろしくおねがいします。

”一年ぐらい日本語を勉強します。
I think 勉強していました。is the correct conjugation (the shiteimashita it indicates the i've been~~~)you also should note that in japanese you have to clarify the "since/from" with the word "kara"(から)like this
”一年くらいから、日本語を勉強していました。”

”日本語のクラスは入りたいですがお金を持ちません。 :(
its more natural to say お金はありません
is translated as i dont have money
and お金を持ちません, i think its incorrect (not 100%, but 100% that arimasen is correct and sounds more natural)
it literary means "i (or someone else ) doesn't hold money (with him...) "

何々初めて知りません。。。"
"何か  から 始めるか 分かりません"
"What from (to) start ( i ) don't know " ---> " ( i ) don't know where to start from"
何かから(from what)始めるか(start?)the ka is question
(in this case is more natural to say wakaru、shiru is more like you know something (a person a thing)

私の短期的な目標はハリーポッターを読みます。 :lol:

読みます ---> 読むことです
(i) read is to read/is that (i) read
attach koto infront of the dictionary form of a verb and at the end desu

私の長期的な目標は日本語の能力試験を受けます。
受けます-----> 受けることです
:) 頑張ってください!!
My long term goal is to take the JLPT exam.
