Help with 'spacing' ?

Postby Chenge » August 17th, 2015 1:09 am

Hi! So, I am very new to learning. I have just learnt hiragana and will start katakana soon. I have started to learn words etc and try to consolidate what I have learnt by practising the words written in hiragana. I struggle with the 'spaces' or lack off (?) because in English it's easy to differentiate each word that is said. I wrote a little introduction sentence below, is it correct? My name is written in romanji. Is the 'spacing' correct?

c.muzah san,
konnichiwa.
Spaces between words should not be put in sentences officially.
When we give sentences for young children, we use sentences including spaces is called wakachi bun.
The reason why is that young children’s vocabulary and grammar knowledge is not limited so wakachi bun helps word boundaries.

Regarding your sentences,
こんにちは。
わたしはChenge です。
ありがとうございます。
please put full stops then they are perfect! :D
