六年 前 趣味 として 日本語 を 勉強 始めた。 「JLPT 3」 (いま JLPT N4 と 言う らしい) を 合格 しました。 最近 ついに 日本 に 行った 事 が できた。 これから 一生懸命 勉強 したい
英国 に 用事 が 済ませた 後 日本 に 働く つもり です。 仕事 は パソコン プログラマ です が 英語 の 教師 も 大丈夫。
もっと 上手 に 成りたい し 日本 に に 住んで いる 人々 と 話したい

I've been using the podcasts from this site for a long while now, but I guess this is the first time I've actually posted here.
I've been learning Japanese as a hobby for a few years now, and passed JLPT 3 (now called N4 I believe), but having recently got a couple of opportunities to visit the country, I'm planning to go a lot more serious with it.
I'm hoping to look for work in Japan, essentially as soon as I can organize my affairs in the UK. I'm a computer Technician/Programmer by trade, but I'm happy to do the English teaching thing if that's what's available.
So I'm on here to get some more Japanese practice, and hopefully meet some people who've made the plunge into working in japan.
