Taiwanese Citizen working in Japan

Postby jhalton » April 21st, 2009 3:24 pm

Does anyone know what kind and the availability of jobs for someone who has only Taiwanese citizenship? (Doesn't have a work visa for Japan and doesn't live there yet either)

I don't think JET hires Taiwanese people, but I guess there's other similar teaching jobs that would. Another English school or a Mandarin Chinese teaching school?

Hopefully someone who nippon ni sundeimasu knows a little moar about this

Thanx guise

A lot of people have looked at the topic, so if no one has responded, it just means that no one really has a good answer :? I'd recommend asking around at some eikaiwa/teaching forums where they might have more people who are familiar with teaching jobs (LetsJapan, GaijinPot are a couple).

cool good idea, I'll check it out......I'm always reluctant to post on forums though

Then it's just another user name to fill out, another password to remember.... :(

But thanks for the tips, those will be very helpful.

Oh and you have a very sexy voice by the way :P
