I wrote a small app for excel to train japanese vocab.
I include all the vocab for the first beginner lesson season and the first 80 of the JLPT4 kanji.

It can be downloaded @ http://www.mina-online.de/japanese/

I think that app is really helpful, so much better than regular flashcards
And it's something as simple as an excel worksheet!

I'm glad you posted that info in here, because otherwise I would never have found it and I think it will help me a lot when studying vocab.
