This is my proposal for a free jpod101. Some of the webs have been copied and pasted from what I have found on jpod101 or the links they recommend but you can use any other to make your own jpod and post it here.

The Tanaka corpus with thousands of example sentences can be found here. “Kanji a day” and the listening sites have also many examples and readings. Simple sentences are a good start and they help to reinforce the grammar points you study but I recommend to “grab” real Japanese as soon as possible, no matter how hard is at the beginning.
