Hi everyone, Japanese weekly words, let’s go. 今日のテーマは、こちらです。じゃららららら。(Kyō no tēma wa, kochira desu. jararararara.) Common slang expressions. Common slang expressions. 最初の言葉は、こちらです(Saisho no kotoba wa, kochira desu.)
ぶっちゃけ(butchake) To be honest
てか、ぶっちゃけさー、ここ狭くない?(teka, bucchakesā, koko semaku nai?) To be honest.
次が。(Tsugi ga.)
おひさ。(ohisa.) it’s been a while
おひさ。(Ohisa.) おひさでーす。(Ohisa dēsu) おひさ。(Ohisa.) 久しぶり。(Hisashiburi.)
さーせん。(Sāsen.) sorry
さーせん。(Sāsen.) これをまじめなシチュエーションで使うと、たぶん、ぶん殴られます。(Kore o majime na shichuēshon de tsukau to, tabun, bun’nagurare masu.)
ダッシュで(dasshu de) in a hurry
ダッシュで!(Dasshu de!) 急いで、急いで。(Isoide, isoide.)
これは、けっこう使います。(Kore wa, kekkō tsukaimasu.)
ダッシュで向かうとか、自分が何か遅刻してるときとか、ダッシュで向かいます!みたいな。(Dasshu de mukau toka, jibun ga nani ka chikoku shite ru toki toka. Dasshu de mukai masu! mitai na. )

めちゃめちゃ(mechamecha) quite
めちゃめちゃ。(Mechamecha.)
あー、あのネコちゃんめちゃめちゃかわいい!(Ā, ano neko-chan mechamecha kawaii!) みたいな感じで。(Mitai na kanji de.)
めちゃめちゃ、すごい、すごく、みたいな。(Mechamecha, sugoi, sugoku, mitai na.) Very much, quite. 
めちゃめちゃ、ていうことです。(Mechamehca, te iu koto desu.)
もしみなさんが日本に来て、友達に突然この言葉を使ったら、笑ってもらえるかもしれません。(Moshi mina-san ga Nihon ni kite, tomo-dachi ni totsuzen kono kotoba o tsuka ttara, waratte moraeru kamo shiremasen.) じゃあ、また、来週(Jā, mata, raishū.) Bye bye. はっちゃけよ!(Hatchake yo!)

Thank you for the comment!

ぶっちゃけ means “to be honest,”.
It is an extremely casual expression, so you can use it only among close friends.

Is ぶっちゃけ basically the same meaning/usage as 実は but more casual?

I often use “めちゃめちゃ”😄
It origihally came from the dialect which people in western japan use.
