We’ll look at some important polite Japanese expressions using the grammatical constructions -sasete moraitai n desu ga, and -sasete itadaku. The first phrase combines the -te form of a causative verb with morau to express “getting someone to let you do something.” The second Japanese phrase combines the -te form of a causative verb with itadaku, which is the humble form of morau.
