What’s better than a can of hot Japanese coffee in the morning? A second can of hot Japanese coffee! (Yes, we drink canned coffee in Japan!) Today we’ll learn how to ask in Japanese for a second helping of anything! And we’ll learn how to offer a second helping of anything, of course, in Japanese! We’ll also talk about places in Japan where you can get free stuff!

Start Learning Japanese at JapanesePod101.com!
We’ll review Japanese verb conjugation, continue looking at plain forms and introduce o-kawari, a word you can use at Japanese restaurants! After listening, stop by and leave us a post!

Have you ever been to a jikka? Jikka is the Japanese word for one’s home, as in the place where they grew up. Have you ever been to a Japanese friend’s jikka? Would you know what to do if you went? Well, in today’s lesson, we’re visiting a Japanese home with Fuyuka and Fabrizio!

We teach you the conjugation of Group 2 Japanese verbs as well as the dictionary form (plain form) used in casual Japanese conversation and other grammatical constructions. We’ll also show you how to offer food (or anything, really) to others! All in all, an important lesson for those starting to learn Japanese!
