I don’t see the tea house on this street.” He asks in Japanese, “Do you see a small sign on a building in front of you showing a cup of coffee?” You look around again, spot the sign, and answer in Japanese, Yes! A coffee house!” He tells you in Japanese, “Oh, okay, I know where you are. Stay right there and I’ll send someone to show you the way.” You answer in your most polite Japanese, “Thank you, Boss, that’s very kind.” “Not at all, we’re glad you could come on such short notice.”
