Breaking The Ice: Help in making Japanese friends
I used to study Japanese in 2007 but I never really got far with it. Now, there's this Japanese girl I see almost everyday at this certain place and I want to approach her and make friends with her. I want to say "Is it ok if we become friends?" in Japanese aside from the usual phrases used in breaking the ice when you meet someone for the first time. Could you please help me with this using -te mo ii desu ka or -te mo daijoubu desu ka but I don't know how to construct it. I noticed we share the same interests in sports and music so a little help from you guys would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much!
