Where Do I Start?

Hello! I am new to this website and looking forward to learning Japanese. I have no experience what-so-ever with the language so I am an absolute beginner. I do have a question that I hope someone can answer for me.

I was unsure where to post this, but where exactly do I start with the lessons? When I go to "Getting Started" under audio lessons, I click absolute beginner and I am immediately taken to the second lesson level. Should I actually do Lesson Level 1 that's called "Introduction"? Or should I skip that and just go straight to the Absolute Beginner Lessons? It seems to automatically take me to the second lesson level.

I hope that I didn't confuse anyone lol

Hi amaramusicmaker!
If you'd like to get started learning the language, please start with Absolute Beginner Season 1. The Introductions lessons are lessons mostly in English that give information about Japan and the Japanese language (but the language isn't really taught yet at this stage).
