Yuki-san, konnichiwa :D

I understand. Incredible... so many mistakes in just one sentence...
Thank you for correcting the sentence; sumimasen. ^^

As for the question: I saw an anime. A salesman / estate agent where showing an office building to some potential customers. One of the customers asked a question. The salesman started his answer in the fashion like "I am glad you are asking..."
In Japanese, it sounded like "youkoso, o????? kudasai mashita", where o????? sounded like "okuchi". At first, that made sense for me to regard "okuchi" as a honorific expression, like using the mouth (kuchi) to ask a question. But when I did not find such an expression on the net, I recognized, I may be on the wrong track ^^

Do you have a clue what word that might have been, if not "okuchi"?
On a Japanese TV shopping show, a similar phrase like "I am glad you are asking that question" may be used, doesn't it? Would it be something like "youkoso o... kudasai mashita"?

Thanks in advance,
kind regards,
Michael

ミハイルさん、
Konnichiwa. :D
That's ok if you make mistakes because you are learning Japanese.
Don’t worry about that too much.

The salesman started his answer in the fashion like "I am glad you are asking..."

I think the salesman said ‘youkoso oidekudasaimashita’ or ‘youkoso okoshikudasaimashita’.
They mean ‘I am happy you came there’ or ‘thank you for coming’.

I hope it could be helpful.

由紀さん、こんにちは。 :D
お待ちになりまして 申し訳 ありません。
僕は 答えることを 忘れていました。
I am sorry, to have left you waiting.
I forgot to answer.
はい、たいへんたすけた。
「おこしください」が 正しい 言葉ですを 僕も そうおもいます。
どうもありがとうございます。
おこし とは 漢字で 「お越し」 で、意味が 「visit」 ですね。
Yes, it was helpful.
I agree, "okoshi kudasai" would be most likely the word I have been looking for.
Thank you very much.
It is written お越し(ください) in Kanji, and the meaning is "visit," is that the word?

ミハエルさん、
こんにちは。
大丈夫ですよ。That’s ok if you reply to me late. I know you are busy.
I can see your effort and am impressed.

However, correct sentences are

お待たせして 申し訳 ありません。
はい、たいへんたすかりました。
僕も 「おこしください」が 正しい 言葉だとおもいます。

Yes, お越し means Visit.

由紀さん、こんにちは。
thank you. But busy or not:
僕は 悪い人であると 思われることに したくないので、がんばっていたいです。
I do not want to be considered to be a bad person (without manners), so I would like to give my best. :D

Ah, I see. It should be the humble form, omatase shimasu, because the verb omatase (passive form) literally means that I have left you waiting, so it is an action caused by me.
What I wrote would literally mean something like "You have been waiting, and there is no excuse." Interesting! I am glad you corrected that

ミハイルさん、

こんにちは。
It seems that you always work hard.

I think your sentence should be
僕は 悪い人であると 思われたくないので、がんばっていたいです.

待たせる is an original form of お待たせする is not passive but causative.
私はお客様をお待たせする means “I make customers wait”.

待たされる is passive form.
私は待たされる means “I am waited”although it’s uncommonly used in English.

由紀さん、こんにちは。
文を直してくれてどうもありがとうございます。
Thank you for the correction.
I see, this is even more compact and straightforward. I like that.

Ups, you're right, it is the causative form. That's maybe the first time, I now consciously see that form in real life :D
Thank you.

@ernie: Hi Ernie, you have opened this thread, initially, right? Good idea! :D
