I had a phone call with a friend, this weekend. So, inspired by Ernie, I try to translate it. First, I'd like to use not too casual speech, but kind of polite as between colleagues:
僕：もしもし。
友：おはよう。お元気ですか。
僕：はい、元気です。ありがとう。お元気ですか。
友：僕も元気です。ありがとう。私も元気です。あの、僕らは岩登りに行きます。も行きたいか。
僕：ありがとう。でも、天気はちょっと...
友：ああ、そうそうそう。寒いですね。
僕：はい、すみません。
友：大丈夫です。行かなくていい。
僕：じゃ、いっていらっしゃいよ。ベルク・ハイルね！*
友：ありがとう。またね。
Me: Hello.
Him: Morning. How are you?
Me: Fine, thanks. How are you?
Him: Fine, too, thanks. We are going climbing. Do you want to come with us?
Me: Thanks, but the weather is a bit...
Him: Ah, I see. It's cold, isn't it.
Me: Yes, I am sorry.
Him: No problem. You don't have to come (with us).
Me: Well, have fun! Berg heil! *
Him: Thanks. See you.
* "Berg heil" is traditional among climbers. It means "Have fun climbing, and return healthy." Though it contains the word "heil," it has nothing to do with politically motivated phrases used in the 3rd Reich. So please do not mistake that greeting! ^^
That was a rather polite translation. As he is my 親友 (best friend), the actual conversation was more casual. Also we use to infer some information ^^ So, the literal translation would be:
僕：もしもし。
友：よ！岩登りに行きたいか？
僕：いいえ。外はあまりに寒すぎるよ。
友：そうだね。でも、行きます。
僕：じゃ、いってらっしゃいね。ベルク・ハイル！*
友：よ。またね。
