Have the Japanese banks started barring Americans from getting an account yet? There have been quite a few European banks that are now closing all accounts owned by Americans so they don't have to put up with this.
I can see a few things happening. One is that foreign countries will refuse to do business with Americans, and two Americans will be renouncing their citizenship to get rid of this mess. And yes the rich, old, white men on capital hill is making life miserable for the rest of us!
