Learn Japanese with JapanesePod101.com! Today is a beautiful day. You and your friends decide to make the most of it by walking through the park, enjoying the weather, and having an incredible lunch in the beautiful outdoors. You have to wonder to yourself if it gets much better than this…until your friends begin smiling as they look at different things in the park, chatting in Japanese about what they see. You can see them pointing at a small dog playing in the park…but what did they SAY? Obviously, they are enjoying his playfulness. It seems several other animals sitting nearby get their attention as well. As if they sense your confusion, they stop laughing and ask in Japanese, “Is something wrong?” Dropping your head a little, you admit in Japanese, “I can guess that you’re talking about the animals…and you seem to be having so much fun…but what are you talking ABOUT?” Laughing, your friends reply in Japanese, “Why didn’t you say so?! We are laughing because the animals look like they are doing the same thing as us today - enjoying the day at the park!”
