ちょっと質問があるんですけど。。。

「あの店は、借りられているＤＶＤばかりで、本当に困るわ。」っての翻訳は “That store has nothing but DVD’s that are being rented, so I’m at a loss”でしょうか。

In other words, the store’s dvd’s are always rented out (借りられている)?

The sentence in your first comment was better.
If you useこれからは “after this” instead of 最近, your sentence sounds more natural.
これからは、Streaming 『の』人気が　上昇すると思います (or あがると思います)。

Is 借りられている　used as potential verb or passive form.

Thank you for the comment.
Yes, 作品 could mean “film,” “book,” “music” and so on. It basically means the thing created by artistic activity.
“To concentrate on one’s work” is 作品（を作ること)　に　専念する. We use a particle に not を.

I fixed the kana mistake. Thank you for pointing out.

does 作品 have many meanings? I’ve been using it to mean “life’s work” saying that I’m concentrating on my sakuhin (i am an artist) . 作品を専念する to concentrate on one’s work.
is this correct?

also is there anything imperative about
返す時は？
or did you guys give a loose translation? (when you HAVE to return it)?

also is there a mistake in the 8th line of kana– ともだちがいっってたよーーtwoっs?

“Listener wa/ga komento o kaku” is a sentence. (= Listeners write comment)
However “Listener ga kaku komento”(=Comments that listeners write) is not a stand-alone　sentence but a modifying clauses plus the noun.
A modifying clauses plus the noun appears in a sentence and is treated as a noun in a sentence.
ex)
I read [comments that listeners write].
= watashi wa [ listener ga kaku komento] o yomimasu.

quick question: When the quiz part came up, I thought it would be “Listener ga commento kaku”, so why is it “Listener ga kaku commento”?

I thought the verb would come after the noun, but here it’s reversed…?

なおみ先生：Netflixのもっと安いプランは$8.99ですね。一回一枚限定借り放題。更にインスタントワッチも含まれていますよ。「インスタントワッチ」っていうはね、Netflixのホストコンピューターから自宅のコンピューターやネット繋ぐテレビに映画をダウンロードすることです。元々Netflixの目的は全てインスタントワッチで観られることだったでしょうかね。でも今もコンピュータの技術はまだ未熟ようです。（今はちょっとだけと思うけど！）

最近ここに「Red Box」っていうサービスもそごく流行っています。コンビニやガススタンドに販売機がある。一枚一泊一ドル。

アメリカのDVDも安いですね。$5.99から$29.99まで、映画の人気より。日本のDVDは５０００−６０００円だそうですね。
