For some reason, a lot of your comments ended up getting caught by the spam filter I’ve just restored most of them. I’m sorry for the inconvenience- I’m not sure why they may have gotten caught. If it happens again where your comment does not appear, you may want to try using a different email address and see if that changes anything. In the meantime, I will keep a close eye on the spam filter and restore any non-spam comments that get caught.

I did comment various lessons. But sometimes, my comment does not appear in the comment section and was deleted

When I try to comment again I get an error message “Duplicate detected…” - but my comment is not there…

Actually drinking Coke or any cola with cake sounds like a normal American thing to do. Putting milk in your tea sounds unnatural to me.

When no context is given, it is difficult to determine the intended meaning of a phrase.
If you were given the phrase ぎゅうにゅうをのむ (you would probably see the word gyūnyū instead of miruku in this case) with no context, it could be “to drink milk”, “I/he/she drinks milk”, etc. If it were a standalone phrase on a test (not part of a reading passage, etc) I would simply say “to drink milk”.

今にちわ　みなさん

i have been learning Japanese for past 3 months. i have been listening to your lessons for the same period and i find it extremely helpful even though the duration is quite less. your lessons as well as your voice is definitely a treat thank you for your beautiful effort. i have a question basis this lesson: i understand that the tense (future/present) depends on the context but what about the sentences given in the exam papers … there is no preceding context … for eg: if there is a sentence saying “ミルクを　のむ”, then how does this translate to？

ありがと　ございます　（can we say ありがと　ございました even before the favor is done）

It’s an invitation.
Mata(=again) sushi (=Sushi) demo(=or something) ikou(=let’s go)
So the whole sentence means “Let’s get together again for sushi or something.”

→　Yes. You can add が　to informal speech. However it sounds a little stiff and sounds like a written language. In casual spoken language, maybe けど meaning “but” is even more natural. (As I wrote your original sentences are grammatically perfect though. )
僕は２６歳だが、コーラとケーキ、最高
→僕は　２６歳だ　けど、コーラ　と　ケーキ、最高　（だと思う。）

And one quick tip for koto. When koto follows the verb, the verb has to be informal form.
はしることが好きです。 I like running.
コーラをのむ　こと　を　やめました。I quit drinking coke.
like this.
