Dear Japanesepod101 team,

Its a great effort to see the mysterious N3 level made easy on your website. I am finding it great . I jus have one suggestion to you guys. It would be great if you can also upload a mock test kind of thing specifict to JLPT new levels.
This may help students also understand the type of questions more in detail and get a fair idea of their level of knowledge.

Hope this helps all the JLPT learners. Hope to expect more on the other levels too.

Hello, yesterday I got my certificate for JLPT N4. I’ve passed. Thank you very much to the team. Unfortunately in preparing for N3 I miss exercises relating to the great amount of new expressions and words. #2 and #3 demotivated me a little bit. Could you please care for a little more practice relating to the lessons or give a hint which other lessons in JapanesePod can support the learned vocabulary and expressions. Thank you. JP101 Team,

Do you have plans to add any more features to the “Premium” column? Seems like the N3 portion is getting off to a much less robust start than the other categories on your site. For example, under the “WORK” section for Intermediates there are 3-5 very helpful review tools. In comparison to that “WORK” section, this seems a bit like self study in the traditional sense of simply getting an N3 book and doing rote memorization.

Thanks in advance for any feedback or insight you can provide.

I’d like to second the idea of having furigana next to the vocabulary words. But this is a great series! I’ve passed the old level three but will aim for the new level three, probably. I’m planning to take N3 next year July as I will start listening to this someday

This is a great idea! I did N3 in the last round, but only just passed, so this will be great review. Just out of curiosity, is there a time-line for the release of N2 lessons? It seems like JapanesePod has plans to do the full series, if I understand correctly?

Generally speaking, we use 沸かす for hot water. 炊く is for cooking rice and ゆでる for boiling other ingredient.

You can also say 壁を触らないでください. The meaning is the same. Particle ni can indicate the surface of something.

I wanted to take N4 this year as well as register this week, I noticed that the place where I supposed to go for the test on the website, the registration was already over by monday (6/9/2010) . So I’m planning to take N3 next year July as I will start listening to this someday .

Thank you for the great feed back.
1. About adding kanji/vocab list to the learning center, actually it’s a good idea. I’ll propose your idea in our next meeting.
2. I’ve just added the reading in Hiragana underneath the Kanji.Please download the lesson notes again.

I’m sorry that I’ve overlooked your comment and haven’t replied your comment.
We’re not planning to make full lists of vocab/Kanji /grammar for any levels.
I searched on the internet and found some websites have lists. However I’m not sure how reliable they are.
Maybe get one もんだいしゅう and study with it is the best way to study for the test I guess.

お疲れ様です is used as a greeting at working environment. I could mean “hello” or “bye” depending on the context.

I have a new baby, so I’m not sure if I’ll be able to travel to take the JLPT this year. But this is a great series! I’ve passed the old level three but will aim for the new level three, probably.

I’d like to second the idea of having furigana next to the vocabulary words. There were a few (like fountain pen and leather shoes) I didn’t know.
