I have found that the stroke order of some characters, the above included, depends on which dictionary you pull. Which naturally leads to the question, where is THE authoritative source for Japanese kanji stroke order? If you want an example of what I mean, look up 座 in Spahn & Hadamitzky and then compare to a Canon Wordtank. Throw in some results from kanjicafe, and the whole stroke order issue can become quite arbitrary. This makes it difficult for the student, who is looking for definitive sources.
