You turn to your friend and say in Japanese, “Are you kidding me? I have to sit on here for twelve hours?” Your friend responds in Japanese, “You didn’t know this already?” You reply in Japanese, “No, I didn’t really think about it.” Your friend tells you in Japanese, “Well, Japan really isn’t that far away. We’ll be there before you know it.” You say to your friend in Japanese, “I can’t sleep the whole way. What am I going to do?” Your friend hands you a book, a magazine, and an iPod and tells you in Japanese, “The flight is not that long. Anyway, I am prepared for the trip…I’ll take care of you. Just sit back and relax.” You tell your friend in Japanese, “It’s impossible!”

I was hoping this would be an inflight conversation. I’m a flight attendant, so that would be helpful. But it seems to be about a school gym:???:

I’m more of a the intermediate level student, but it’s still useful to listen to the newbie series, the explanation about gym was helpful and of course, listening to kat’s beautiful accent is so cool I’d like to speak english like that
