One question about the lesson contents: Yuichi先生 suggested 「辞書を選ぶ」 as an alternative for 「辞書を引く」 and used 「選ぶ」 instead of 「引く」 in another example. Unfortunately I didn’t understand that example… Can you please explain that again?

It sounds a little bit too complicated(we usually don’t use two conditionals in a row especially in writing). You don’t have to use two conditionals, but just simply put it like this:
