After struggling with a tough calculus problem for a few minutes, he tells you in Japanese, “This math problem is blowing my mind. Maybe your brain power can help me out?” You look over at the problem and say in Japanese, “No sweat.” You throw a few equations on the paper, and a minute later solve the problem and tell your friend in Japanese, “Done.” Your friend looks at the paper, shakes his head, and says, “Man, I take my hat off to you for your math skills.” You tell your friend in Japanese, “It’s no big deal. And keep your baseball cap on-your hair’s a mess!” Your friend responds in Japanese, “You do know that’s just an expression, right?”
