ザ・日本 5 鶴岡八幡宮
みなさん、こんにちは。ユリのオーディオブログです。
今日は、日本の神社、「鶴岡八幡宮」（つるがおかはちまんぐう）についてお話します。
鶴岡八幡宮は、神奈川県鎌倉市にある神社です。
武家源氏の守護神が祀られていて、その土地の名前から「鎌倉八幡宮」と呼ばれることもあります。
神奈川県は東京都 のお隣の県ですが、そう遠くはありません。
恵比寿駅から湘南新宿ラインという電車にのれば、乗り換えせずに１時間足らずで行くことができます。
鎌倉の街は、観光スポットとしても有名ですが、流れる空気がゆったりとしていて、人の歩く速度さえ遅く感じます。
駅から鶴岡八幡宮へと続く雪ノ下通りには、昔ながらのおみやげ屋やせんべい屋などが並び、どこか懐かしさのある温かい雰囲気が漂っています。
鶴岡八幡宮の入口にある鳥居をくぐるとすぐに舞殿が見えてきます。
舞殿は、神前結婚式で使われる野外の会場です。
私は何度となく鶴岡八幡宮を訪れていますが、特に６月から９月、夏から秋にかけてのシーズン、結婚式を見かけることが多くありました。
舞殿を通り過ぎると目の前に、６１段の大きな石の階段が見えてきます。
これを登りきれば、いよいよ本宮にたどり着ける、というわけです。
私は、いつもこの階段を半分過ぎたあたりで休憩します。
振り返ると、鎌倉の街が見渡せます。
かなり急角度の階段なので、子供達は必ず、保護者と手をつないで登ります。
本宮には、お賽銭箱と鈴のついた大きな縄状の紐があります。
まず、お賽銭箱に硬貨を入れ、紐を手に持ち、鈴を鳴らします。
それから神前に向かって2度礼をします。
次に拍手をパンパンと2回打ってから、手を合わせ、目を閉じ願いを込めます。
そして、最後にもう一度神前に向かってお礼をしたら、お参りは終わりです。
この一連の動作を「二拝二拍手一拝」といいます。

皆さん、こんばんは！
あああ、懐かしいなあ。私も鎌倉に行ったことがありまして、鶴岡八幡宮にも参りました。
やはり鎌倉の色々なお寺や神社に参るのに一番いい季節は春でしょう。青空が晴れていて、いい天気だし、桜も咲いているし。
でも、鎌倉には観光地以外もいろんな面白いことや感動的なスポットありますね。鎌倉の砂浜の周辺、サーフィング系のレストランや店が並び、あそこで見物の休憩をしながらサーフィングをやっている人の姿を鑑賞できますね。

Hello to all japanesepod members!
I have a request, please, or maybe a suggestion? I was wondering if you could start a new series on classical japanese grammar, I know it’s a bit difficult and maybe some people may think it’s not that useful at all, but I’ve came upon some books with several expressions written in old japanese and it’s hard to understand. Also poetry generally makes use of this kind of japanese and even some songs have many old expressions. The worst part is that I’ve checked on internet and there’s not enough information vailable on the subject, so I only have japanesepod to rely on.
Please I’d be really grateful to see a series on old japanese here someday, I know you’re really busy but I won’t give up hope. Also if you know of some good site to learn about this topic will you tell me?
