Don't mean to sound rude but seriously people, Jessi just posted a link to help out on beginners. Also, if you go to the HELP section, there is a section which shows you were to begin, depending on your level. :)

Mangara99 -san
You're right. It is said that UCHI is like English "home" and IE corresponds to "house" in English. However if you're talking about house, people use UCHI and IE pretty much interchangeably.

Naru hodo! Thank you so much!

And one more question, how do I know when to say IE and when UCHI when talking about a house? Is there any difference? According to what I read, it seems to me that UCHI is said when talking about one's house, my house, and IE is for any other house, am I right?

We can say "O-oshie kudasai" although it sounds a bit. If you write it in kanji, お教えください, it looks fine!

Hello! Konnichiwa!!

This lessons are really useful, riding a train in Japan is practicaly a MUST and I hope one day I can make use of these useful expressions, thank you!

Also, I have a little question, if to use a polite command we use the structure:

O-machi+kudasai
O-kikase+kudasai

How are the verbs beginning by O written? For example OSHIERU>>>O-oshiekudasai? Sounds a bit weird :???:

Thanks!!
