「できたって言ってたんですけど」is a real tongue twister. I had to listen to that like 20 times before I could pick up what was being said.

jen-san
In the conversation level, they're pretty much used interchangeably.
I'm not sure how deep you want to know. There's difference.
商品　is the product for sales.(売るもの　という意味です） So the products you'll find at the shop are 商品.
製品 is the manufactured items. (製造されたもの　という意味です）So the product factory makes is 製品.
For example, vegetables can not be 製品. Because vegetables are not the items made by manufactured process.
Again, the difference is very subtle. So don't worry too much about the difference.

Hi guys.

I'd like to ask the difference between 製品 and 商品.

They seem to be used interchangeably. Thanks.

got it! i was wondering, what happened to the intermediate feed? you haven't added to it in about a year. I'm looking to challenge myself a bit further and was thinking of the intermediate level as a logical next step. Or, do you think I should look at the upper intermediate? I looked at a few lesson notes from the intermediate level and it doesn't seem to have many more new vocab words for me than the lower intermediate does.

What do you think?

Jackさん,
If you say that something is 平気, it means that it is not a problem, so in this context it would be something like "If you have no problem eating spicy food..."
