I have the same concern as some other people here. Not that we don’t appreciate the offer, of course we do, 6 months of prem is great!
but yeah, if you give EVERYONE 6 month prem, that’s lost revenue from ALL your paying subscribers, and hopefully potential customers don’t end up thinking 6 months is all they needed and then never come back.
Naturally, I’m sure there has been careful thought given to this and you know what you’re doing. I just it’s all good, and JP101 is prepared to honor the promise if it happens there. My marketing teacher would tell us about how some soda company claimed they’d give you a fight jet if you collected like 1 million bottle caps and someone ended up doing it. wouldn’t want to see jp101 in the same trouble, hehe.

When we sat down and thought about it, we saw it as introducing a million people to learning a language having fun, rather than lost revenue. We’re not sure how this will turn out, but we hope a lot of people will study lots of languages because of it.

Well, Peterさん, good luck with this promotion then. I’m sure you have in mind that going to 1 mil subscribers is such a huge increase, those who stick around will make up for any lost revenue.
