the survival phrases is coming back!! うれしい。。

私ははじめてjapanesepod101を聞いた時に、survival phrasesでした。

Wowww!! The new lessons sound great! I can’t wait for “All about Japanese”, what a great idea :] Also, Lower Intermediate Lessons S4 are definitely my favorite. I love that it’s new material too When I started, I was using the old beginner series lessons, so its nice to feel caught up! The onamotapeia lessons are cute, but I can never remember them heh これからも頑張ってね！

Also I totally agree, summer is the besttt for learning languages Last year I went to Disney World, and whenever I had to wait in line, I was plugged into Jpod or Kclass on my iPod. I made so much progress, it’s finally time to get back into the groove hah! やった！

I have one tiny request though, I know it might be difficult to tie in with the busy schedule but … I’m going to be a foreign exchange student to Japan for 6 months starting this August, and I’m going to be living super-close to Nagoya. Would it be at all possible to maybe go over a tiny bit of 名古屋弁? I would love to impress my host family & get a start on learning some functional Nagoya Dialect! Idk what you’d be able to do but … I would appreciate it sooo much!

I’m not sure I like the new schedule. It completely abandons the faithful beginner listener. Where are the beginner or newbie series? Lower int./upper int./omni./blog are not beginner and the video is no good for driving.

Looks like the beginner will have no new content going forward.

I’m curious about what the last two posters said as well. What’s the official line on this Jpopd? Do you feel there’s enough beginner lessons now, period?

I’m just starting out on the site and the language, so I’m pressing forwards wanting to know what the offical line on beginners is.

When I open the listen link I get an “error opening file” message. I tried changing browsers, but I get the same message. What gives?

I’m all for enthusiasm! I printed out a weekly schedule sheet and I’m raring to go with the idea that I’ll really get into studying during the summer, but this lesson wasn’t a lesson. I guess I’ll go back into the archives and listen to old lessons while the new schedule gets going. There are always messages about leaving comments, so I will start commenting more!!
