東京のファッション事情５・コムデギャルソン

今日は日本を代表する世界的ファッションブランド「コムデギャルソン」についてお話します。

「コムデギャルソン」の本社は、東京の南青山にあります。１９６９年にデザイナーの川久保玲が設立したブランドで、４０年近くに渡り、パリコレクションで斬新なデザインを発表し続けている日本発のブランドです。

コムデギャルソンは、毎シーズン度肝を抜くような真新しい発想で見る人を驚かしてくれます。しかし、一方で日常的に誰もが着られる上質なウェアも展開しています。私もコムデギャルソンが好きで、よくお店に行きますが、必ずひとつ、欲しいものがみつかります。一見、普通のTシャツに見えるのに、肌触りがいいなあ、と思ったら素材にシルクが入っていたり、ハンガーにかかっている時は分からなかったけれど、試着をしたら脚のラインが綺麗にみえるデザインが施されていたり、細かいディテールへの気配りが感じられるのです。これこそが、コムデギャルソンが長い年月に渡り、幅広い年齢層の男女から人気を得ている秘訣だと思います。

流行に敏感な若者から、４０代、５０代、それ以上の大人にも愛されるブランドはコムデギャルソン以外、他にはないといえます。
フランス、イギリスなどヨーロッパにもショップを持ち、世界中が新作を待ち望んでいる…。コムデギャルソンは日本が誇るオンリーワンのブランドです。

イギリスの北ほうからこんばんは！イギリスと言うんですが、実はアメリカ人で、今イギリスで留学しています！だから日本とイギリスとアメリカのＦＡＳＨＩＯＮをよく見えてとても嬉しいですね。 アメリカの代表ブランドは色々ありますが、私が一番好きなブランドはＯｌｄ　Ｎａｖｙっていうブランドです！コムデギャルソンみたいにみんなが着られる洋服があるからショッピングはやっぱり楽しいですね！さすがに一番好きなものは。。。ジーンズです！！！アメリカの文化ですね‥

ブラジル人として代表ブランドと言えばやっぱりHavaianasですね！Havaianasは世界中で有名です。日本の草履をヒントに製品化されたビーチサンダルです。

フランスにはファッションブランドがいっぱいあるんですね!私の大好きなのはAgnès b.、VentiloとDes Filles à la Vanilleです。このブランドは素敵なワンピースを色々作ります。他のブランドはSinequanone、Naf-Naf、Morganも人気だと思います。オートクチュールだったらもちろんYves St LaurentとChanelです!

日本でも”Havaianas”のサンダルは人気が出てきているようですね。色々なデパートで売っています。一種の「逆輸入」ですね。

She probably despises the description given here of her fashion and/or she sold out to the unthinking masses…

I’m not sure what the rationale behind your vocabulary list selection is, but I keep noticing important words that are omitted. I thought that maybe you offered only words that hadn’t appeared before, but I then saw that this wasn’t the case, since words that have appeared in recent lessons, like zanshin, are sometimes repeated. Although I was familiar with all these words, I think many students would appreciate having the following in this lesson’s list: nenreiso, hikketsu, habahiroi, machinozomu, maatarashii, tenkai, and sozai. どうもご迷惑をかけてすみません。宜しくお願いします。

I understand your dilemma, but you might at least consider not repeating words in favor of including those that haven’t yet been listed. Anyway, the extra work involved would only redound to the quality of your program. Still, it’s your call. I enjoy being able to use this feedback mechanism, although I’m probably a big pain in the kubi (or shiri–take your pick).
