皆さん、こんにちは! Did you get the hang of という点で?What do you think about the 手巻き寿司 game?
Friday at 4:07 am
フル回転の使い方という点で説明してください。

I’ve heard of this! I first heard about it in Hamburg, then read about the one in Asakusa. Haven’t personally been, however.
The one in Germany has blind employees who introduce you to your table and serve the food. It’s completely dark inside, but you order in the foyer, which is lighted so you can read the menu. Or so I read.

So eating while blindfolded kicks your other senses into high gear!
フル回転させる = to use to the fullest, to kick into high gear
タネさん>
That restaurant in Germany sounds interesting! Completely dark inside, hmmm… personally I like to be able to see what I’m eating so I’m not so sure about these blind/dark restaurants

Actually フル回転 is a very interesting phrase, isn’t it? It’s a combination of English word and Japanese word.

ブラインドレストランは、ドイツにもあるんですねー。

流石Anthonyさん!”第六感”という言葉が知りたかったんです!講座のレベルは高すぎる!最高!なつこ先生となおみ先生ありがとうございます!

I’m really liking the upper intermediate lessons. This construction is going come in very handy.

I’ve seen という点 a bit, but I didn’t know how to use it myself. The concept is useful for explaining things in daily conversation, but I wonder if this expression is suitable for that. I was thinking って点 might sound a bit weird. Is it okay to use either form with friends, or does it sound a bit stiff?
By the way, I agree that this format is great, and I always look forward to these lessons

Please tell me if this sentence works (o how to say it properly)
自分の学習スタイルに合わせると言う点でホームスクールがいいと思いますが、どんなカリキュラムを使うかの決定が難しい。
Here’s what I’m trying to say. Homeschooling is good for matching learning style (to the student), but deciding on curriculum is difficult.
I speak from experience as a home-schooling mom.
どうぞよろしく。

How do you say “cuteness?” かわいさ?
かわいさという点で、わたしの子猫は一番いいです。

Do you have “第六感 the sixth sense”?
JKid-san
ありがとうございます!!!

Good question! って点 is quite colloquial expression, but sounds natural to me. As you have already noticed, 点 has a bit stiff nuance. But I think we use this when we’re talking to friends but still want to express the opinion logically.

とてもいい文章だと思います!!
>>>自分の学習スタイルに自分の学習スタイルに合わせると言う点でホームスクールがいいと思いますが、どんなカリキュラムを使うかの決定が難しい。
→If you change “合わせる” to “合わせられる”, your sentence would be perfect!!

猫が好きですか?
I think your sentence is very good. But いいです is not necessary.
かわいさという点で、わたしの子猫は一番です。

I just ran across some hanami cycling videos with subtitles that some people might enjoy seeing. It’s a chance to expose yourself to another mode of authentic language usage.
