You know what they say…you should always eat your vegetables. And this video lesson will help you to remember the Japanese names for them. How did you do with this lesson?

Hiroko-san and everyone, すごい、 ちょうやばい、 These videos are fabulous ! They are well worth the wait.
I am trying to remember the schedule for videos, every other Friday if I remember correctly. Will they be in a format that downloads to the iPod or will they be like this? Are they going to remain Free Content? Is there going to be a PDF vocab list for Basic and Premium subscriptions?
どうもありがとうございます。

This is great my wife who refuses to learn Japanese but heir is a fruit and vegtable shop across the street from us. She like the little old lady who runs it. I will transcribe these and maybe she will use them.
Next fruits please.
Thanks

I can only speak for myself but I learn so much quicker when using video. With the videos I get sound, text and a visual image of the objects.
Well done boys and girls

Very cute!
But I also find that I get slightly annoyed by the Japanese habit of using foreign loan words all the time! I also think you should have used the Kanji for Carrot, since it’s a combination I am particularly fond of:
人参
Keep up the great work!

Any reason you guys decided to use ポテト instead of いも? Does 芋 only refer to sweet potatoes (when not being used to insult someone, that is), and if so why not use じゃがいも? It always seemed to me that ポテト wasn’t really used to refer to the raw vegetable, but was often used once it had been prepared, particularly in Western style dishes. Am I wrong here?

I have a My Feed RSS which I use for J-Pod videos, but this isn’t showing up in the feed. (the previous video about the shrines did though) Am I doing something wrong or is there a problem on your end?
Thanks guys.

Awesome stuff! It’s short enough that I ca watch it during a break at work and the combination of image, sound and characters makes it really easy to remember ^-^
Looking forward to the next lesson!
