Mina-san, are you good at being 臨機応変 (rinkiōhen)?

Another awesome lesson , thanks jp101

neil.m4-san,
Eric-san,

ok here’s the challenge: say you recall there’s a yojijukugo like “ninensanhyakku” and you wanted to quickly verify its usage. You recall it refers to working together, attached at the hip, 3-legged race, etc..Now how on earth can you find/search it in the site? What can you search on? Obviously you can’t eyeball the LOV of the yojijukugo lessons because the lesson titles may or may not be related to the one yojijukugo.
I hate being a dumb user– see I work in IT!
Your site it overall fantastic, but the search functionality is not so great.

Wow, great series. Thanks a lot for the awesome lessons. I actually did surprise my wife once when stating something was 前代未聞, and I often get scolded for doing the dishes 中途半端, so now I know. Just kidding.
Just the right number of lessons too. Great module, so I am looking forward to the Onomatopeoia series which is definitely useful.

Doug-san,
Glad to hear that you like this series!
Your story about 中途半端 is really great example of usage for this 四字熟語.

Hello everyone,
I really enjoyed these lessons, thanks a lot!
Do you intend to launch another season, or is this over with yojijukugo?
What about kotowaza, now?
Thanks for your answer,
S

Suzanne-san
In my opinion, we don’t quote proverb as much as English speaker does in a daily conversation. In stead, we use a lot of yojijukugo though.
But having some lessons about Kotowaza or using Kotowaza in an advanced conversation would be definitely interesting. Thanks for a great idea!
The lesson schedule for next year has already been decided, so unfortunately I don’t think there’s any room left that Kotowaza lessons can fit in.
But some day in the future, we might be able to have Kotowaza lessons.
Thank you again for your feedback. We really appreciate it.

Thanks for your answer!
So there is going to be another season of yojijukugo? Sweet!
Thanks for all the work you do. I’ve been using your website since I came to Japan, 4 years ago and it has been really usefull.
Best regards
S
