と（半冗談で）言いなおします。　ちょっと失礼かもしれないですが、私は自分の名前も持ってるし、自分のidentityもあるし。。。

この新しい　お一人様　の意味だいすき！

I take to the idea of ” ohitorisama ” pretty much. To me, the idea of an independent married woman who continues to retain her identity and individuality without just being Mrs So-and-So, forever in the shadow of her husband is especially appealing to me. However, I believe a housewife or a stay-at-home mom can also be an ohitorisama. I like the idea of being a spiritually-free woman, more importantly, a woman with a face. More often than not, women are being overshadowed in marriages, especially if their husbands are of a high status in society. The wife becomes a nobody although she can be extremely attractive, talented, smart and witty in her own right. Therefore, thanks for shedding light on this idea of ” ohitorisama”. I suppose for many married women out there, we don’t just want to be Mrs so-and-so. We have our own names, our own families, our own personalities, our own gifts and our own history. We are just as interesting, just as important, just as special.
