Just prior to the part you're talking about the wife says Japanese to the effect of 'Remember Haruya is here tonight' (今夜はるやさんきてるよの) and Yukio interjects and says 'Oh, a guest?' The husband responds to his wife (and in a sense ignores Yukio) and replies 'Oh, that boy, he's already left.' I believe the から is because it's implied within the husband's response 'Oh, that boy, (it won't be a problem because) he's already left.' In Japanese the 'because' isn't left out as it would be in English. (Maybe.) Hey Giga,

It's been bugging me for AGES. お願いします。。。:???: 僕はイギリス、ノティングハンに住んでいます。皆さん、はじめあして!Gigaと申します。
