マイさん, Alexさん
Sorry we have kept you waiting:sad: and thank you for your comment, Alex-san.
As Alex-san said, the translation is paraphrased translation and the literal translation is "Shall I go to the station?"
We use paraphrased translation to make sense in English, because the literal one doesn't always make sense in English.
So it unfortunately make you confused.
Any questions are welcome so when you have questions, please feel free to ask!
We sometimes miss　comments, so when our reply is unfortunately very late, please let us know, like how you did.
Thank you for your comments and feedback.

マイ:

Your previous comment was actually quite nice, I'm sure no one took offense to it.

As to your question, "something something -ましょうか？" can be translated as "shall we" or "shall I" depending on context. So in this case, since the daughter is stating that she will be at the station at such and such time, the mothers reply is directly translated as "Shall I go to the station?" but in more natural English it's changed to "Shall I pick you up at the station."

I hope you were able to speak on the phone and try some of your Japanese!

I hope that I haven't offended anyone. I haven't heard back from anyone on my question and it's been quite a while since I wrote it.

I was confused about a translation, but maybe the way I wrote it wasn't nice? I'm very, very sorry. Please forgive me.

In the conversation, the last line Kiri says is, じゃあ、駅まで行きましょうか, and then the translation according to the PDF is, "Well, shall I pick you up at the station". I'm confused because I thought 行く was translated as "to go" making this sentence something more like, "Are we still going to the station together?" すみません、is my understanding of the sentence completely off?

私は日本語で電話するのがしませんかったけれど、日本語で電話したい。
I haven't talked on the phone in Japanese, but I want to. Now I just have to find a friend who speaks Japanese.

こんにちは、

It seems that in both situations (い-adj. and な-adj.) you can use the copula afterwards.

So, to say, "It didn't look good, but it was delicious." would I say:
これはおいしくなさそうだったけど、おいしかったです。

Haha.. yes, I had to speak Japanese on the phone. It was at my friends house in Japan and we waited for an important phonecall. And then the call came in and nobody was at home expect me  . I run the phone, stuttered something like - sumimansen, chotto matte kudasai  - and I called my friend who was downstairs somewhere. What a thrilling stituation for me  !

To talk on the phone is very difficult, because you are not able to use your arms and hands to make your more understood.

I still see the same mistake. I'm using Firefox browser(version 3.0.5), perhaps its only seen in this browser? Anybody using Explorer or another browser?
The Japanese all seems fine as well as the English. The only mistakes that I see where the spelling is missing letters is in the Romanji, and its throughout the PDF. Not only this PDF but previous ones as well.
Does anybody else see any of these mistakes?
