みなさｎ　こんいちわ

About bakajikara,
in The Netherlands we have the same word or expression. We call it
'dommekracht' it means litteraly the same as bakajikara. Stupid power.
But it has really a meaning: it's a jack! A device to lift heavy things with
little effort. But it also has a figurely meaning end that is a very strong
but brainless person.
So, a bakajikara is a jack or a very strong but stupid person in my language.
This makes listening to these lessons so worthwhile!

Hmm, this lesson's MP3 file has NO tags. None.

The tagging for this season so far has been really hit-and-miss... makes importing and sorting very difficult.

I think I'm going to like Eric, though; he's got a good sense of humor. I will miss Rebecca-san though! :-(

This lesson has a lot of kanjis to remember.
Yes I have bakajikara, specially pushing people inside the bus when I get to my work.

Bakajikara - what a word and explanation! It's because of things like this that I still listen to newbie lessons when they come out, even though I've progressed past this point.

Thanks again to all at JPod101 for your work.

Capt. Strugglebunny-san, "Haha!" That's a good one! I love hybrid languages! I wonder if others have funny examples like that?

Back to complaining, the video vocab no longer opens up in a new window of the broweser, which I liked. Now, it wants to be opened in iTunes or saved to the desk top. These are not convenient. I like the old way better. But, hey! - thanks for all you do. I love all the features of JPOD. :kokoro: In fact, there are so many I can't really use it all! But, it's all there waiting for me when I want it!:dogeza:

Instead of complaining about broken things (because I'm too cheap to actually be a member yet anyways, so I can't get into the learning center,) I'd just like to add a goofy little anecdote:

Whenever I surprise my Japanese teacher, she exclaims with a half uwe/wow hybrid of "uWOW! Sugoi!"

I guess it's funnier if you hear it.

Erin,
I only get a page full of coded numbers and letters for the Video Vocab page for this lesson. Can you fix it?

What's with doing the Learning Center's quizzes only in Japanese characters with no romanji. Folks, I would like to remind everyone that there are some out here that aren't too advanced. This is also "Newbie", not more advanced levels. The way the quizzes are done for this lesson makes the quizzes useless to me. Please give us both forms. Thanks
