アヌーシャさん
Actually the level of this lesson is around previous N2.
*But the level is slightly different between each lessons.
If you have a difficulty, Intermediate or beginner course would be good for you:wink:

Mina San,

I found this lesson to be a bit difficult. Which level of JLPT would you equate this to? N2 or N1?

This one is a little less soul crushingly difficult as the moving in story, and it's *really* helpful when the dialogue is explained line by line. More of this please for upper intermediate!

I have a question though, this 'fufu' thing that keeps cropping up now. Is this some sort of office in joke, or do grown men actually say such things? It sounds really odd.. a little, well... disturbing!

Sabrabba san> Thank you SO much for your comment! Let me start off with restating the below sentences in full Japanese....
「。。。持ってないと日本人という風に”government”とかから”approve”されないんですね。」
「。。。持ってないと日本人という風に政府とかから承認されないんですね。」

「”officially married”っていうようなニュアンスで使ってると思いますよ。」
「"正式に結婚した・している”っていうようなニュアンスで使ってると思いますよ。」

「すごく”traditional”な日本の習慣というかんじですね。」
「すごく伝統的な日本の習慣という感じですね。」

Totally understand your comment, while I also understand when recording in bilingual sometimes the words get mixed up in our mind and come out in both English & Japanese. But we will definitely take comment like yours seriously, and strive to create "listener friendly" lessons, so I hope you keep giving us your insights! Thanks again! :dogeza:

I have to agree with sabrabba, particularly since "government", "officially married" and "traditional" are the only Japanese words in the entire conversation that I wouldn't have understood. Exposure to them would have helped me remember them.

I have a really big favor to ask of the JP101 staff. There were a few places where English was mixed in with the Japanese explanations, and it was a little frustrating... Can you say these sentences using Japanese only?

Sorry to be nit-picky... I love your lessons and all of your commentary. Thanks!:dogeza:

Bob1-san,
たぶん、「泥棒猫(どろぼうねこ)」が一番いいと思います。
We really don't have closest meanig of "homebreaker" but 泥棒猫（どろぼうねこ） is often used in Japanese TV show. I guess people might understand what you are saying instantly.
