Need to get a new apartment in Japan? Do you know where to start? In this series, we’re going to show you step by step how to rent an apartment in Japan. We’ll give you all the tools you need to make the whole process as painless as possible.

We’ll look at some important polite Japanese expressions using the grammatical constructions -sasete moraitai n desu ga, and -sasete itadaku. The first phrase combines the -te form of a causative verb with morau to express “getting someone to let you do something.” The second Japanese phrase combines the -te form of a causative verb with itadaku, which is the humble form of morau. We’ll try to make it easy to learn this difficult Japanese grammar!

If you’re planning on moving to or in Japan, you don’t want to miss this practical Japanese lesson!
