I'd LOVE to see more video material put out. The audio/visual double input is great (loved the vocab overlays!). Even simply adding a video portion to the current audio lessons that's like a powerpoint slideshow of vocabulary to match the podcast would be a really great way to get that dual input. I know visiting the site plays that function, but I usually study on the go -- when I'm on the computer, there's a million other things drawing my attention. Especially with the growing popularity of iPhones and video iPods, I think video is the next big evolution in language learning. I'm into creating video as well - would love to volunteer to help you guys out with some if it could help bring about more material. I sent an email to that effect about 3 weeks ago, but no reply... I really love an old NHK series called "Let's Learn Japanese Basic" - has anyone watched that? I've never seen a learning program that made me want to watch, simply to see what happens with the characters next, like that one could. I think the mixing of a drama that pulls you into character development with learning is ideal. Obviously you guys know that as you do it all the time with the audio lessons - would be great to see something more developed for the video side. I know it's hard and takes a lot of resources...can't be done so easily in the established studio. Like I said - I'll be happy to help if you'd like. ^^ Hi~
