Mina-san, have you ever had problems at immigration or customs?
Surprisingly, I had no trouble. Even when I brought an entire suitcase of electronics (retro games) back with me on the plane. They didn’t even ask or search the bag. I wonder what that looked like on the x-ray image…
Kusuri desu! Nice website. Wish there was something like this when I first began learning Japanese many moons ago!
Every time I hear Ben’s voice I think of the voice actor H. Jon Benjamin (the voice of McGurk in “Home Movies”, Ben in “Dr. Katz”, and countless other shows.) Especially with his dry humor and joke delivery.
Puts a smile on my face because it’s like I’m learning Japanese from McGurk haha.
Err Eric’s voice. Durr. Got my names mixed up. すみません。
I lied to customs both times I came to Japan because I didn’t want to waste my time. I’m a bad person.
Is it just me or was there two versions of this lesson? I have both, one with morphine as a joke, and then the second one has souvenir as the 2nd item.
Jenny-san, nice catch. Yep, you, and many others, have the limited edition version. Sure to be a collectors item one day.
