When trying to think about these sentences, I would try to think of something like this (in English) and then attempt to think in japanese:
This weekend, ‘Exercising at the gym and pool’ and ’studying very hard’ were what I was thinking about doing. But, going to an onsen in Hakone would be great.

So I would try to write your sentence as this (If I make a mistake, please correct me further )
ジムとプールで運動して日本語をよく勉強しようと思っていたけど。。。。しかし、箱根町の温泉へ行くほうがいいなあ。
Unfortunately, I may be changing your desired meaning a bit too much here. Is there anybody who has an opinion on this?

温泉、入りたいなぁ！！温泉で、ビールを飲んで。。。。最高（さいこう）！！！
箱根（はこね）の温泉は有名ですね

たぶん、こういう文章を書きたかったかなあ：
　　今週末ジムへ行って、無意識まで勉強すると思っているけど、箱根へ行くと
とうるとジョんを肉食獣カナコに助ける方はもういいです。

I think I too am a bit confused. how do you say “from the Kanako”?
ええ、ちょっと混同していると思う。「カナコから』が日本語でどう言う方がいいですか

One question please: in this lesson we got introduced with 「Vて欲しい」 pattern and it was said that it’s good to use with close friends. Can anybody please briefly explain how to say “I want you/him/her to do something” in polite way, so we can say it to people of superior status? I guess it will be covered in some of future lessons but it is very useful to know it as soon as possible

if you could _____ for me, i would really appreciate it.

例えば：
教えていただければ、ありがたいです。
みせていただければ、ありがたいです。

if you are using polite japanese, would you use “nasaru” instead of “suru”?
プリントをなさっていただければ、ありがたいです。
