The Related Expressions section at the end of each entry is extremely useful for understanding the differences between similar grammar points, since it actually compares them rather than just directing you to the others. I'm pretty sure somebody once said in one of these comments that to/ba/nara/tara are all 'pretty much the same', which really isn't true outside of an English translation; using the wrong one at the wrong time leads to some really ungrammatical sentences. Here in Tokyo things are quiet as there has been a mass exodus of people from the greater Tokyo area. Markobe8-san, yes, I know the feeling! It gets its name from the fact it has 1000mg of Vitamin C. AndamanIslander-san, I definitely agree! It not only has explanations like this: The ~ba conditional is used to indicate a condition, and an action, or state that will come to exist or be performed whenever that condition holds true. Like the other Japanese conditionals (\"nara\", \"tara\" and \"to\") it corresponds to the English \"if\" conditional. It also has all of the lessons that introduce -ba! Mina-san, hope you’re having a great Golden Week!
