Why is 着くwritten using kana ついたin one line and using kanji 着くin the next?

If “Sliding Doors” is such a good example of the “ba” ending, then why was the “tara” ending used in two of the three example sentences from the movie?

If toi and mawari are combined together, how does it come out? Toumawari? Toumari? Toumaari? Tomaari?

If a tree falls in a Japanese forest, does it make a Japanese sound?:???:

One more please. Please explain the difference between:
複雑(fukuzatsu)
繁雑(hanzatsu)
ややこしい (yayakoshii)
紛らわしい (magirawashii)

All of which seem to mean complex or confusing. It is confusing.

fav hangout? Kamakura has several temples that are not “on the maps” of temples, at least the tourist books and maps. Anyway, Kitta Kamakura station, exit the side where the wildly popular temple Engakuji is, go opposite direction of Engakuki down the only street available. This is a very narrow street that runs along the train line– watch for the motorcycles! On the right, just before the final left-turning bend of the street there are stairs to temple. Not sure the age of the temple since, though it was probably originally built around 1200 ( as most of them in Kamakura are) , I’m sure it burned down a few times or fell victim to earthquake. What I love are the STAIRS: now they are OLD as the the original temple. And they are so high you end up completely secluded and able to see whoever’s coming. Very awesome place, free.

I did not get around to the main hydrangea temples.. the names escape me. the 梅雨（つゆ) was kicking my !@!#$@ back them. Everything was damp, even the papers in my backpack. We have nothing like that in California.

I hope you don’t mind if I reply. くりかえす(繰り返す) is a verb meaning “to repeat”. The ～て form of くりかえすis くりかえして. And so: 「繰り返して　下さい」

The word Naomi先生 used at 5:29 was 言葉遣い (ことばづかい), which refers to the way one speaks/the language one is using. So here, they were saying that the 言葉遣い in the conversation was pretty rough. As for 繰り… there is a verb 繰る, which means to turn, flip through, spin. I don’t think it’s that common of a word though - I don’t hear it used much.
