golden week is a string of national holidays that happen to occur near each other. golden week and o-shogatsu (new years holiday) are probably the only 2 vacation opportunities for workers in japan. nice weather finally sets in and many people leave tokyo and osaka and return to their home towns to see family and old friends. o-bon is another time but it’s only 3 days.

JPOD staff- Sumimasen, I wasnt that angry, shojiki. I’m just going through withdrawls!(actually I dont consider myself a newbie but I like to listen to the newbie lessons because Naomiさん and Rebbecaさん have such nice voices.) the marines didn’t win, but i think that was the first time i’ve had a hot dog in 5 years or (maybe) more. hahahaha

it was great meeting everybody. since we have such great listeners, it’s always a pleasure to meet face-to-face. really a wonderful time. hope we can do it again!
